Billboard reports that an anonymous source tells them that the Electric Daisy Carnival (EDC) is going to be postponed to October 2-4th 2020. The new date is to be announced this week. At the moment EDC is still scheduled for May 15-17th but with how the CDC and government officials are responding to the ever growing pandemic that is coronavirus with stricter regulation every week the fate of this festival has always been on everyone’s minds constantly. Already Beyond Wonderland had to be rescheduled due to the epidemic response and not the largest event Insomniac holds for over 20 years. Fans have been skeptical of the massive being rescheduled. Just earlier this week major artists like Martin Garrix and other major headliners removing EDC from their tour schedules. The anxiety fans continue to face with “will it will it not” seems like it will finally be confirmed, EDC will be postponed. Pasquale on his Instagram yesterday gave a comforting message to fans sharing how the team was working hard for EDC. He ended his statement saying:

“This time hasn’t been about whether or not to do the event before it’s safe. That’s never been a question for me. We’re spending so much time on the best decisions for EDCLV because I know how much it means to many of you and we need it to be right. Thank you for being patient. I’ll have an announcement with all necessary changes coming this week so stay tuned.” – IG: @Pasqualerotella

Stay tuned headliners, be prepared for the worst but know that it is for your best. This is all temporary and we will all be reunited back on the dance floor soon.
