Eric Prydz is rather precise in his intention to do his colleagues one better, and in a brief visual flash he made the best dedication to the original visual dance music spectrum in a long time. A slow motion effect of Daft Punk’s Harder a Better Faster Stronger Acapella introduces Prydz’s mashup of the same track with his remix of Blue Monday; what came as a surprise, however, was an image on the EPIC screen of the two robots in the pyramid. The glimpse of an image that many were able to experience in 2007 was meant to be brief, and that simple nod put even more value into the two night extravaganza that LA was privileged enough to experience.
