For the past eight years Exchange LA has teamed up with ABC7 and the Los Angeles Fire Department to help benefit Spark of Love, a toy drive and distribution initiative benefiting underprivileged kids in Southern California.

Three years ago EXLA partnered with OWSLA featuring Valentino Khan, Anna Lunoe, Point Point, and Vindata. In 2015, Gareth Emery’s Electric for Life Foundation hosted the night. We’ve also had Swedish Egil’s annual Holiday Groove recorded live for Power Tools Radio featuring artists like The Crystal Method, Christopher Lawrence, Sultan & Ned Shepard, Mark Farina, DJ Dan, and Charles Feelgood.

For this year’s spark of love event, EXLA is teaming up with Day Trip, to bring you Night Trip X-Mas edition! Day Trip is Insomniac’s Summer Sunday open air party featuring acts over a wide array of sun-soaked vibes like Wax Motif, Noizu, Hayden James, Moon Boots, Artbat, i_o, and Mason Maynard. EXLA and the team are excited to partner with the all-immersive brand to create a special Winter Wonderland experience equipped with snow machines, specialty drinks, and house music all night long. Day turns to night for this one of a kind charity event.

Working directly with the Fire Chief and Fire Department, they’ve been able to provide over $10,000 in donations to the Los Angeles youth, foster kids, and local schools. To participate, patrons bring any unwrapped toy for entry. Tickets are also available as well as sponsored tables and corporate sponsorships with proceeds benefiting the Spark of Love.

Exchange LA usually hosts a pre-event for the Fire Chief, Mayor’s office, City Council, and more members of the community to participate. Along with live music entertainment, we’ve hosted a casino night with raffle prizes, complimentary appetizers, and cash bar.

ABC7 and Southern California Firefighters are celebrating the 27th year of Spark of Love Toy Drive. Over the past two decades, the drive has successfully collected more than 9 million toys. The campaign collects new, unwrapped toys and sports equipment for underserved children and teens in Los Angeles, San Bernardino, Orange County, Ventura, and Riverside Counties.

The electronic music community has a long history of bringing awareness to various social causes and we want to keep the tradition alive. We would truly appreciate your support for this event and wonderful cause.
