For those itching to confirm Excision’s mixtape as the cause for the EDC Bass Pod fire of 2016, you may have another lead on your hands. The Bass music DJ’s Lost Lands festival was in full swing this last weekend, and another fire took place atop the volcano set piece of all things. While they had to temporarily shut down the stage, Excision’s team acted quickly and updated guests on the situation:
Headbangers! Destroid was lit!
We were temporarily shut down due to a small fire at the top of the volcano. On hand fire personnel quickly had it under control and the fire was immediately extinguished. After approval from the fire marshal and the sheriff, we’ve started back up again and Zeds Dead is on stage killing it right now! Thanks everyone for your concern, Lost Lands goes on!”
Nobody was harmed in the incident.
