Grapefruit Sound Lab follows his single ‘To Make You Mine’ with an energizing remix of Gina Volpe’s hit single, ‘Shine’. You may recognize Gina’s voice as the influential punk rocker from the East Village. Grapefruit Sound Lab takes the original single from Volpe’s ‘Different Animal’ album and gives a dark, effervescent rework. The track gets brought to life with a pulsing bassline and dark synth progressions. It’s taken to the next level with the addition of Gina’s vocal and is sure to give you the jitters for a vibrant nightlife scene. Rob Cotnoir of Grapefruit Sound Lab also lends his own vocals that compliments Gina’s very nicely.
The remix comes ahead of Grapefruit Sound Lab’s upcoming album, Eight Days Across America. This collaboration with Gina Volpe is yet another impeccable audio demonstration of his feats as a versatile electronic music artist.
