This past weekend, music fans from far and wide converged to a sold-out HARD Summer Music Festival 2018. Supported by Insomniac’s production prowess and infrastructure, the new and improved HSMF treated attendees to what is being regarded as the festival’s most impressive show to date. From rap stars to electronic’s finest, openers to headliners – the party never stopped.

Those who came through early and braved the heat were greeted by an array of shade structures, cooling fans, and 5,000 feet of misting lines throughout “Shady Lane” – the pathway connecting both ends of the Speedway – to cool them down before getting back to five stages of world-class tunes.

It was the rare back-to-back billings that were most anticipated like Buygore frontrunners Borgore B2B Getter, the genre-hopping Yellow Mustard, the all-prevailing Zeds Dead B2B Jauz and scratch kings 2¢ (Craze & Four Color Zack). In line with HARD’s dedication to artist discovery, these industry leaders shared the spotlight with rising stars like crossover producers Xie and Medasin, Beats queen Kittens, and DIRTYBIRD’s new secret weapon Omnom.

In the blink of an eye, HARD Summer Music Festival 2018 has come to an end. The energy flowed over from Day 1 and grew tenfold with even more stars and surprises taking over Auto Club Speedway all day and night for Day 2. With a weekend attendance total of 165,000, HARD Summer 2018 proved to fans once again that it is a brand as capable of growth as it is the refinement of the fan experience. Between the mind-blowing stage production, comfort-focused environments like “Shady Lane,” misting structures, free water refill stations, and a VIP pool, to a wide-reaching look into modern music, HSMF 2018 will go down as the brand’s most ambitious and successful festival yet.
