Detroit’s own Mike Masch is proud to present a collection of chillhop, lounge, and hip hop beats in his latest LP, Return to the Boulevard. The 15-track beat collection plays hand in hand with his own music project, where he raps under the pseudonym, Moment. It’s endless soundscape of chill vibes and articulate beats that you just want to kick back and listen to. The only defining genre characteristic is the kick drum and beats that make it hip hop, but other than that Mike Masch’s production is genre-less and out of this world.

“This release is a follow-up to the successful 2017 jazzhop album, ‘Sanguine on Amplified Blvd’. The new album expands on the easy listening lounge style but expands into lofi hip-hop. This produces a slight modern edge over the prior album that Mike believes fans of these genres will really love. As mentioned from the prior album, sanguine means staying confident even in tough or difficult times. This kind of music inspires that level of emotion & feeling and Mike is ready to bring more of it to others. This is vital, as everyone can use something like this during these times or just throughout their days.” – Mike Masch

Music has played an instrumental role in Mike Masch’s life. Learning various instruments since the age of 5, music took Masch to Philadelphia in 2009 to perfect musical talents. Eventually, he returned to his home state of Michigan to begin his solo career and perform under his rap project, Moment. His self-named project focuses more on beat productions and curating a vibe that is entirely his own.
