Fyre Festival will never burn out of the headlines…ever. Though the phony festival’s founder Billy McFarland is going behind bars, the insane unraveling of the festival’s faults will be immortalized for a much longer time. Entitled Fyre, the documentary will broadcast on Netflix next January. While the preview shows some of the most memorable shots including the far-from-gourmet sandwich and the infamous FEMA tents, we expect to see first-hand accounts from those who were on and behind the scenes. With the help of Vice, this little movie will not only cause a stir of laughs but serve as a lesson to anyone who thinks planning a festival is easy money.
The documentary officially drops next month on the 18th.
