It’s been a crazy last couple of weeks for the music and festival industry. We’ve seen a ton of major festivals like Coachella, Ultra Miami, Tomorrowland Winter, SXSW and more being canceled or postponed due to novel coronavirus concerns. Most recently E3, America’s biggest video game conference, was canceled because of the coronavirus.

A lot of ravers have been asking if Beyond Wonderland 2020, slated for next weekend on March 20th & 21st, was going to get canceled or postponed to another date? Luckily, the NOS Events Center, the official venue for the upcoming Spring rave, gave us a clear answer that Beyond Wonderland is in fact STILL happening.

During a call placed to the NOS Event Center on Wednesday, March 11, a representative stated that as of now Beyond Wonderland is scheduled to go on as planned, but didn’t further comment on anything the venue or Insomniac Events are doing to ease concerns over the coronavirus. A post on the NOS Event Center website directed people to the Center for Disease Control and Prevention page on COVID-19 for “tips and precautions to ensure health and safety at our events and for ourselves, our employees and patrons.”

Earlier this week, Beyond also confirmed the event is still taking place after a fan commented on the official Beyond IG page’s recent post, “I can’t wait! Please don’t cancel!” which Beyond was quick to reply, “Beyond SoCal is proceeding as planned! We are actually working with local health officials and monitoring all new developments.”

The festival is scheduled to include performances by more than 70 artists across multiple stages, including Diplo, Dillion Francis, Tiësto, Alison Wonderland, and Jack Beats. Unfortunately, Benny Benassi was forced to pull out of the festival as his home country Italy is currently going through mandatory quarantine.

So the good news is Beyond 2020 will be happening. Now, the bad news? Tickets are going extremely fast and will sell out!
