Chris Ianuzzi is quite the character in the electronic music circuit. To say that his music is niche would be the understatement of the year. His style, quirks are something to get used to if you’re a new listener of his. Yet, the passion and soul that he puts forth into his music is unmatched. He slams the door on the digestible, mainstream pop that floods deserted shopping mall intercoms, and embraces a style that is entirely his own. Lonesome Highway Superstar is the antithesis of mainstream pop.
It’s a Journey on the course that life is making. Starts in a dream state. “I walk in My Sleep, I walk to the promised land, ll the people I meet cant help me to understand why”
There’s a loneliness and longing. It’s shows a positive step forward when the chorus comes. In the middle section, it becomes clear that there is a longing for a person “Our Memories are less forgiven”:) We’ve got a long way to go.
Chris Ianuzzi embraces AI technologies to create the music video for March of Madness. It’s a psychedelic audio visual combo pack that is not for the faint of heart. The pinnacle staple pièce de résistance to the album as a whole. Honestly, I imagine falling into a void of blackness while listening to this album. It may or may not be your cup of tea.
