By now everyone has heard that EDC weekend was about to face an ugly freeway closure; the US 95 at I-15 was going to be closed by the Nevada DOT causing crazy traffic heading to from the Las Vegas Speedway. Pasquale Rotella just released a statement saying the I-15 will NOT be closed after all this weekend for EDC and has come to an agreement with the Nevada Department of Transportation (NDOT) to postpone the construction on the I-15 this weekend and even open up an extra lane during peak travel time. The Las Vegas BLVD will also be completely open for those who want to take that route.
