If an artist runs their own event or curates their own stage at a festival, chances are they love every artist they book from start to finish. As an incentive to get their fans there to support everyone on the bill, said headlining acts have adopted the habit of scheduling themselves to open the show. Porter Robinson adopted this habit in a unique way, electing to open both days of his brand new Second Sky festival as Virtual Self. It’s a great surprise that will compliment Porter’s exclusive Worlds set, which will be the only set he does in 2019. Robinson will be joined by G Jones, Cashmere Cat, Nina Las Vegas, Anamanaguchi, Kero Kero Bonito, Chrome Sparks, Wednesday Campanella and as special DJ set from Madeon. This booking solidifies June 15 and 16th as an incredible weekend for music.
