Splash house is back for round two this weekend in Palm Springs! The August edition is stacked with a diverse lineup that’ll have you dancing your booty off in the summer heat! Whether you’re staying at The Saguaro, The Renaissance, or The Riviera hotel, you’re in for quite a crazy weekend! Aside from the amazing music and artists playing this weekend, here are a few tips to prepare for this weekend:

Tickets
If you have print at home tickets, make sure to bring them upon arrival. To pick up wristbands for the festival and after-hours party, the main box office is located at the Renaissance hotel which opens their doors beginning Friday, August 11th at 4:00pm. You must have a valid form of ID to pick up your tickets.

Friday: 4:00pm-10:00pm
Saturday: 11:00am-8:00pm
Sunday: 11:00am-6:00pm

If you are arriving after 10:00pm on Friday, you must come back Saturday morning when the box office opens at 11:00am.

The Heat
We all know how hot it gets in Palm Springs so expect high temperatures and warm nights. The forecast for the weekend is looking to be in the 100’s so we remind you to keep hydrated! Dress light and don’t forget high SPF sunscreen, a hat, sunglasses, a fan, and most importantly, water! A mister helps if you have one as well.

The pool
At every hotel, you can expect a crowd, so make sure to get there early and mark your territory, whether it’s a towel, or a huge swan floatie in the pool, find a good spot! Don’t forget to wear your festival wristband to get into each hotel pool during the weekend. Make sure your prepared for chaos and warmer pool temperatures from body heat!

Shuttles

There’s no need to drive back and forth from each hotel. Shuttles will be running between the Saguaro and the Renaissance and between the Renaissance and the Riviera between the hours of noon and 9:00 PM. Those wishing to travel between the Riviera and the Saguaro will need to ride to the Renaissance and switch shuttle lines.

After Hours

The official Splash House after hours party will be taking place at The Palm Springs Air Museum on Friday and Saturday night from 9PM-2AM. Bob Moses starts the weekend off Friday night with a live set, and James Murphy will be closing Saturday night with an epic 5 hour DJ Set.

Bitchin Balconies 
For those who snagged a balcony room at any of the festival’s hotels, you can enter into the Bitchin Balconies contest! Deck out your balcony in the best possible way and enter to win a prize package! The grand prize includes a Room Package for Splash House 2018, lifetime splash house tickets, and a merchandise pack. The runner ups get 4 tickets to Splash House August 2018 or a 2018 merchandise pack.

How to enter:

  1. Decorate your balcony (ie: flowers, tiki faces,pinata, other themes… get creative)
  2. Take a photo and upload to instagram
  3. Tag @splashhouseps and use #bitchinbalconies
  4. Upload your photo by 12pm Saturday
  5. Balconies will be judged Saturday and winners announced Saturday
  6. All rooms at the Saguaro, Renaissance and Rivera are eligible.

Set times are out so make your schedule as soon as possible!
