A Pretty Lights studio spotting in 2020 is good news to everyone who’s missed the prolific producer over the last two years and change. Derek Vincent Smith took some time away from music for a while, but a new studio photo shows him and his brother Motifv together.
The photo comes from Illuminati Congo, a Hip-Hop artist from Chicago. While it’s not immediately clear who’s project is being worked on, it’s safe to interpret “magic” as work that all parties in the room contributed to…meaning the return of Pretty Lights is coming real soon.
