Genre-defying collective Rudimental continue to change the face of dance music, this time linking with Big Sean & Vic Mensa to unveil a brand new VIP Mix of “Lay It All On Me ft. Ed Sheeran.” The “London dance set… have the makings of a global smash on their hands…” cosigns The FADER. The original version of the song boasts 68Million Spotify streams and supports the global platinum-selling four piece’s sophomore album “We The Generation” (out now via Major Toms/Big Beat Records) which achieved #1 album status in the UK.

This isn’t the first time the London-based act have worked with Grammy-nominated rapper Big Sean, as Piers from the band explains below:

“We did a remix for Big Sean a while back, so we then hooked up a session for when he was next in London. We knew we wanted to collaborate on something and he really felt LIAOM, so we reworked it and changed the beat to make it suitable for a rapper.”

Fellow Roc Nation affiliate Vic Mensa also contributed to the new version of the track, which retains Ed Sheeran’s distinctive vocals for the chorus:

“Vic Mensa is one of our favourite up and coming rappers so we got really excited when he agreed to jump on for a verse. It felt like a good fit with Big Sean and we’re so pleased with how it’s turned out.”
