A few months ago, the rap music community lost Jahseh Onfroy, also known as the artist XXTentacion. He was shot and killed in June in an alleged attempted robbery, months after releasing ?, which became a Billboard number 1 album.
Today, his song with Lil Pump and produced by Skrillex was released. Much like Heath Ledger in The Dark Knight Rises, it allows fans to hear something new from the artist after he has passed. The song, titled, “Arms Around You,” features Swae Lee and Maluma. It is a light upbeat track that will be sure to get people dancing. In addition to the various artists on the track, Skrillex also partnered with Mally Mall and Jon FX in producing. The myriad of talents coming together lends for a good listen.
