After a monstrous amount of headlining shows, accolades from the Grammys, and passionate support and outrage alike, Jack Ü have become quite the staple over the last several months. Skrillex took to twitter yesterday to talk about what the future holds for this super duo. The news given may not have been to any devout fan’s immediate liking, though:

We’re not sure what in the world this may hold for the artist himself or his partner in crime Diplo for that matter, but here’s what we do know: Diplo is riding the wave of plenty of new Major Laser content, not to mention his own radio show. Skrillex himself has only made an odd single here and there since his Recess EP. The latter’s pre-jack u project, Dog Blood, has also been confirmed to be working on a new remix, hopefully paving the way for a slew of originals.
Whatever the future holds for both will be plenty to tide us over for the future projects they form as their sought after collaborative effort. We certainly won’t be forgetting any of the originals and remixes they’ve put out for the long, long time that Sonny specifies.
