The hype for a Swedish House Mafia reunion is rather widespread, even considering it has only been five years. Steve Angello did some flame-fanning himself as he was in Amsterdam this past weekend showing support to both Axwell ^ Ingrosso as they headlined a huge show, which both played two classic Swedish House Mafia songs we all know and love. If this IS an indication that the three will reunite, you’ll never hear it from him…he even said this below:
“If you expect the unexpected it’s not unexpected. Usually, that phrase is used when there’s nothing exciting happening. It’s like you go to the amusement park and the slogan says “expect the unexpected” before you enter the “haunted house.”
This upcoming Ultra is the festival’s 20th anniversary. If there were ever a time for a sudden set from the trio, it would either be this year, or the year after that when the festival itself reaches the legal U.S. drinking age. Stay tuned.
