Yes, you read that headline right. The Chainsmokers, am American DJ duo that rose to fame in 2014 with, “Selfie,” has collaborated with one of the most iconic rock bands of this generation, Blink-182.

The duo, who has done past work with musical acts such as Florida Georgia Line, Halsey, and Coldplay, is no newcomer to working with various artists outside of the EDM world. Combining forces with Blink-182 seems to have been their dream, and it was finally achieved.

In a Twitter post, The Chainsmokers posted a tweet stating, “Just did a session with blink182 and wrote an amazing song. We can die happy now.” To mirror it, Matt Skiba of Blink 182 posted a studio photo, captioning it, “Writing wrongs…#chainsmokers ✨”

Did Skiba just give us a song title? We’re not sure, nor do we know when this song is being released. But for many, it is the combination of two worlds and should be something to look forward to.
