Las Vegas just got a whole lot less fun…or will be. Some frequent visitors to the city may have noticed the inclusion of parking meters at MGM Hotels…sadly, more places are getting into the mix of competition for everyone’s money. The Wynn and Caesar’s properties will begin charging their customers to park inside of their hotels on the 19th of this month, making The Venitian and Palazzo the two last hotels on the strip that have free parking. Hotels that will impose parking fees are Bally’s, Caesars Palace, the Cromwell, Flamingo, Harrah’s, the Linq, Paris and Planet Hollywood. Fees will also apply to valet at the Linq Promenade.

At Caesars, valet parking costs will vary from property to property, ranging from $8 to $13 for stays up to four hours. Prices climb to $13 to $18 for stays up to 24 hours. Parking will be free for higher-tier members of Caesars’ players club, Total Rewards.

Despite the fact that it is a prime destination of the world that should have had this going in the first place, people are still sad to see a decades-old tradition fall by the wayside. So be prepared to have to pay even more when you attend EDC Las Vegas or any pool parties this Summer 2017.
