New music from Daft Punk will be released but, in a movie score?! That is right, there has been official confirmation that the duo will be part of scoring their second film. Daft Punk first scored the 2010 Disney film “Tron: Legacy”. Their most recent project is for the film Occhiali Neri (Black Glasses) directed by Dario Argento.
The movie is still in its pre-production stage but is scheduled to start filming in September, coronavirus permitting. The film takes place in Rome and stars the director’s daughter, Asia Argento. Daft Punk is rumored to start sending music over to the director soon so hopefully, we can catch a sneak peek this year. I can’t wait to see these two art forms come together to create a touching masterpiece.
