The Las Vegas Grand Prix is coming back in 2023.

The Grand Prix is a car race that was held in Vegas between the years of 1981-1984. Back then, it was called the Caeser’s Palace Grand Prix. For the first two years, the race was part of the Formula One World Championship, before becoming a round of the CART series in 1983 and 1984. After 1984, is left the calendar. the former circuit is now covered by urban development.

Formula 1 just announced that the Grand Prix is coming back on Thanksgiving weekend 2023. The race will be held at a new night circuit that goes around the Strip. The track layout has 14 turns and three main straights with a 2km stretch running down the central Vegas strip. Drivers will make their way past Vegas landmarks including Caesars Palace, the Bellagio, and the Venetian. The Las Vegas streets are 12-15mm wide, and the average speeds during the race are supposed to be comparable to the original Formula 1 Temple of Speed in Italy.
