Gary Richards (Destructo) Confirms HARD Day of the Dead Is NOT Happening This Year

With October just around the corner, people are already beginning to plan their Halloween with costumes and most importantly, their next festival. Every year the biggest choices in music events in Los Angeles have been Insomniac’s Escape from Wonderland and HARD’s Day of The Dead. Unfortunately, one of them has been axed for 2016

According to a Twitter DM sent to HARD owner Gary Richards, HARD’s Day of the Dead 2016 edition will not be happening this year. Gary stated to a fan that due to close proximity of DOTD and Summer both using production resources for two new locations, not enough was available for both to run smoothly.

While we mourn the loss of DOTD this year, we have high hopes that next year’s edition will be even bigger at a new location and more time dedicated for this festival to truly be amazing.

For those who were waiting on an answer to either attend Day of the Dead or Escape, well here it is. We highly recommend you Buy Tickets now to Escape cause this will sell out!
