HARD Summer blew hella socks off of the SoCal audience, as expected from such a long-running celebration of the dirtier shades of electronic music. Those Californians who have been to the legendary event before know that this post-fest depression is very temporary; round two comes in the form of its Halloween extravaganza, Day of the Dead. For those who’ve attended HARD Day of the Dead in the past know how incredible this festival was and know how much of a real fan favorite it became. The last time we all attended DOTD was November 2015 when Gary Richards was forced to make the event 21+ over recent deaths, but come to everyone’s surprise, it ended up being one of the best festival weekends of the year. Unfortunately, due to politics we never saw the return of DOTD. Fast forward to 2018, Gary has left and Insomniac is in full control of the HARD brand, which means things are looking bright.

The HARD twitter account posted multiple pictures on their Twitter over the last couple days detailing the incoming festivities: a collage of sorts, it shows images of DJs rocking a crowd and a few cutout words that spell, “DIA DE LOS MUERTOS”. We can only assume this is the beginning of the “resurrection” of HARD Day of the Dead.

Where? When? Who? What? We have 0 clues what they’re planning but stay tuned to see what happens next cause we’re excited.
