Your eyes are not deceiving you. It’s true! HARD Day of the Dead 2018 is returning this Fall 2018. A quick rundown, Insomniac has owned HARD over the last 5 years and as of 2018 they completely run the show so it was only right for them to bring back a fan favorite, DOTD. You saw how they ran HSMF so we all know this festival is about to be just as amazing.

For those lucky enough to attend this amazing Halloween festival know how incredible it truly was. Back when Gary Richards ran HARD he brought some of the dopest talent the dance music culture had ever seen in Los Angeles. HARD Day of the Dead featured some of the most legendary acts such as Justice (Live), Knife Party, The Bloody Beetroots, Gesaffelstein, ZHU’s first festival appearance, Baauer B2B RL Grime, Deadmau5 VS Eric Prydz, and more.

HARD was the first festival to bring many DJs to the forefront of LA before they ever played a Wonderland festival or EDC, these artists include Justin Martin, Duke Dumont, Maya Jane Coles, Claude VonStroke, Cirez D, Jamie Jones, Tokimonsta, Nero, The Magician, GTA, Soul Clap, Dusky, Jack Beats, and many more. Day of the Dead was truly a trendsetter that gave a lot of our favorite DJs a platform to really showcase their skills to the world. And look at them now as they’re playing theΒ biggest nightclubs and festivals around the west coast.

HARD’s yearly Halloween event DAY OF THE DEAD (also known as Dia De Los Muertos which in Mexican culture celebrates the spirits of family and loved ones who have passed) is making it big for 2018 for their return. To ring in the occasion, HARD Day of the Dead 2018 will be taking place on Saturday, November 3rd at the LA State Historic Park as they take it back to the roots in a more intimate setting. This festival is 21+

    Skrillex is making his comeback so I wouldn’t be surprised. Calvin Harris would bring in people cause he doesn’t really play festivals. Zeds dead is killing it right now. Kaskade would be a trip cause it seems hard everts has heavy hitters. Rezz would be great for the vibe the event brings. Love all these artist. The ultimate would be Swedish House Mafia but they ain’t coming back till 2019:/
