California’s biggest house x techno event of the fall is coming up this weekend, the last one of September. That’s right everyone, CRSSD is landing back at the Waterfront Park in downtown San Diego. The two-day festival that celebrates house and techno is celebrating five glorious years of bringing beats to this southern California city. As usual, CRSSD delivered on the lineup as well as their By Day brunches beforehand and their By Night afters – including some boat parties.

Global Dance Electronic is going to be there, giving you sets on our Instagram story to keep everyone feeling like they were there and reliving the moments after they are not. Who are we most excited to see though? Let’s look at the line-up day by day:

Saturday

Saturday is considered a more relaxing day, we guess because there isn’t a crazy conflict during sunset (more on that later). If you manage to get in early enough, there are some solid acts you won’t want to miss. As a huge Friends fan (and ironically, the show is celebrating 25 years), I have been wanting to see Ross from Friends.

After that, there’s going to acts such as SG Lewis and Yung Bae as well as one of my favorites, Green Velvet. SG Lewis just came out with a new EP this year, and hopefully, we’ll hear some of those sounds this weekend:

My favorite for Saturday is our girl Yaeji. While she has a lot of great tracks out there, we can’t help but make it rain, gurl:

Sunday

Sunday is when all the madness happens. Sunday you can find me pretty much parked at The Palms stage the whole day. Anna Lunoe, Kyle Watson and MK are going to be there.

(And there will never be a time that “17” won’t bring me joy):

You know who else is at The Palms stage? Shiba San b2b Walker & Royce. Which, by the way, is happening at the same time  Kaskade’s Redux set and Amelie Lens. That was panic-inducing for pretty much everyone, and CRSSD perfectly responded that “Everything is fine” in their Instagram comments when the set times were announced. While we might not agree and have been trying to figure out how to be in three places at once, here are some tracks from all of the sunset artists:

Portugal the Man is this season’s CRSSD outlier, the one rock band amongst all of the DJs.

We love house x techno, and we can’t wait for this weekend. Listen to the CRSSD Spotify playlist here to hold you over until Saturday, and we’ll see you under the San Diego Palms, City Steps and Ocean View.
