There are plenty of sizeable economic impacts that festivals make, but when a show is absent, does it devastate the environment around it? In Tomorrowworld’s case, it seems to be more okay than others. Atlanta’s local news did their due diligence to find out what the opinions are on the massive not returning to Chatahoochee Hills, and many locals are indifferent about it. While businesses could have really benefitted from the massive amount of people who come in from every part of the country, the traffic that floods in and causes grueling commutes will not be missed. From a birds eye perspective the force that guides ID&T’s American blockbuster back in will not be driven by the residents next door to the action, but there’s hope still for a 2017 resurgence.
