Some interesting video content is coming out of Coachella this year in particular, including Rihanna and Childish Gambino who are revealing a special music video during the weekend. Rufus Du Sol fans should be especially excited, as the band will premiere a new film of theirs named after one of their biggest singles, “Underwater.” The video’s director, James Frost, talked about the significance of this video:

“RÜFÜS DU SOL and I have been trying to collaborate for a while, so when the opportunity arose to create the visual accompaniment to ‘Underwater’ for the HP Antarctic Dome at Coachella, I couldn’t think of a more perfect song and I knew we could create something magical. ‘Underwater’ is rich with layers, and the piece we’ve created immerses the audience visually and sonically in this expansive dome setting. I’m honored and thrilled not only to be asked to work on this, but also to have brought the piece to life with amazing graphic artists from around the world.”

In addition to an early preview today, the film is playing periodically inside the Antarctic Projection Dome inside the festival. The band will be playing on both Fridays April 12 and 19.
