Wait no longer for the release of Calvin Harris and The Weeknd’s new single “Over Now.” Last week rumors quickly spread after The Weeknd posted a photo of him and Calvin Harris speculating they were dropping a collab together. XO fans on Twitter quickly noticed the same unreleased song The Weeknd shared on his recent Tik Tok live stream is the same song as the one that Calvin Harris had posted on his story.
Both artists dropped the news simultaneously on Twitter: The highly anticipated collaboration will release this Friday, August 28. Though Harris has been quite busy under the guise of the edgy, Love Regenerator alias, he’ll be tapping into a style reminiscent of Funk Wav Bounces for this track. If the short preview via the producer’s story is any indication, this will be a novel treat.
