Hot off his new Major Lazer track “Run Up” with Nicki Minaj and PARTYNEXTDOOR, all-world DJ and producer Diplo just announced he’s working on another potential hit with Lil Yachty and singer Santigold. In a revealing tweet, the L.A.-based recording artist indicated his assurance that the track will be fire.
This would mark the first time Diplo and Lil Yachty ever collaborated on a project. Lil Yachty has been busy working on his debut album, Teenage Emotions, which he said is close to completion. He’s been nominated for a Grammy award this year for Best Rap/Sung Collaboration on D.R.A.M.’s “Broccoli.” He’s also set to perform at the Broccoli City music festival on May 6. The rapper will touch down in Europe for 9-city tour that will take him to London, Stockholm, Paris, Amsterdam, Brussels and a few other places stating in February.
