Isabelle Rezazadah AKA Rezz’s first essential mix took raised the bar much higher for debutants to the legendary show. As she promised on Twitter, it was two hours of originals, both classics and brand new productions. She squeezed in solo productions and collaborations with 13, Raito, 1788-L among her several other confidants.
While several DJs pay homage to records from the past that may have influenced them or showcase music on their own label, Rezz put herself to the task of composing a journey of 44 products from her own lab. The result is an insane 110BPM or lower symphony of gritty basslines and melodies from another galaxy.
