After fielding a barrage of questions about the next big genre during an interview in New York City, Pasquale Rotella very cheekily let something slip about Insomniac’s next big destination in the world.
“We’re going to the UK, Japan, India…” Yes, he said India. The official star studded announcement is sure to come soon, but we have a hunch EDC’s brand will be making a stop in the east to dedicated fans in India’s booming electronic scene. Pasquale also alluded to his interest in Virtual Reality as the next frontier for big shows; the timeframe on that is a little more uncertain, though. For now, Rotella’s focus is strictly on making EDC New York and Vegas the best they can be.
