Legendary producer and record label head, Alex Gold, has a lot to be proud of. His releases and record backings have played an instrumental role in many of the world’s top DJs today. In 1997, Armin Van Buuren’s career launched after his debut release of ‘Blue Fear’ with others such as Above & Beyond, Chris Lake, Andy C, Paul Van Dyk, and many others seeing a huge push from the label. As the label enters it 25th anniversary, Alex Gold has something very special planned to celebrate the label’s contributions to the sounds of Ibiza, a sampler EP.
The Ibiza Sampler EP provides listeners with the signature eclectic sound that brought the label to prominence. It includes many releases from the recently signed, Konstatine who had this to say about the release:
“Around the early 00’s, I had a huge musical influence from the records that were being played – especially on the magical island of Ibiza. Xtravaganza Recordings was the label signing much of that music, which reflected the cosmopolitan & euphoric musical experience. I’m looking forward to expressing my musical freedom, with my first releases – on the new Xtravaganza“
